Qualified SMART Housing residents can choose our designated SMART Housing floor plan, known as “The Ehlinger.” The Ehlinger is a 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom unit set aside for SMART Housing participants. Yes, for the safety and comfort of our community, certain dog breeds are not permitted. These include but are not limited to Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans, German Shepherds, Cane Corsos, Huskies, and mixes of these breeds. If you’re unsure, our team can help confirm if your pet qualifies.
No, exotic pets such as birds, reptiles, rodents (like ferrets), insects, and large aquariums are not allowed. Only domesticated dogs and cats that meet breed guidelines are permitted. All pets must be screened and approved before move-in.
We require a quick PetScreening process to ensure all pets are approved. There is a one-time pet fee of $500 per pet and a recurring pet fee of $35 per month.
7. Parking and Transportation
Yes, we offer on-site parking in a gated resident garage. Parking spaces are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and you can reserve a spot when you sign your lease. Please note that we do not have guest parking on-site, so any visitors will need to find street parking or other arrangements when they come see you.

In addition, we have an on-site management team present during office hours and an emergency maintenance line available after hours, so there’s always someone to help if needed. Overall, living at Moontower means enjoying peace of mind in a secure, well-monitored environment.
Yes, there are security cameras monitoring common areas.
Moontower has a 24/7 package concierge service for residents, so you can pick up your deliveries on your own time. Packages are stored securely and residents are notified when items arrive, which is super convenient for online orders or care packages from home.
9. On-Site Management and Maintenance
Yes! Our friendly and helpful on-site management team is available during office hours to assist with anything from leasing questions and maintenance requests to event info and package help.
If something breaks or needs attention in your apartment, just submit a maintenance request through our resident portal or stop by the office in person. Our on-site maintenance team is fast, responsive, and committed to keeping everything in top shape. Emergency maintenance is also available 24/7.

11. Leasing, Contracts & Payments
All leases at Moontower are individual, by-the-bed leases. This means each resident signs their own housing contract and is only responsible for their portion of the lease. It’s a student-friendly setup that removes a lot of the stress involved with communal-style living. Individual leasing gives you flexibility and peace of mind while still enjoying the cost savings of sharing an apartment with friends.
Prospective residents can complete the entire application process online. To begin the leasing process, fill out and submit your application, your guarantor’s application, and your roommate preferences form, and someone will be in touch shortly.
Monthly installment payments are due on the 1st of each month.
Housing contracts begin in mid-August and end in late July of the following year. Payments are divided into 12 equal installment payments.
You’re welcome to pay by check or money order at the leasing office during business hours or online through our resident portal.
While Moontower is catered to college students, you do not need to be one to live here.
